Crockpot BBQ Meatballs
2 pounds ground beef
1 cup onion flavored bread crumbs or plain-flavored crumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 packages dry onion soup mix
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 eggs
1 tablespoon oil
           BBQ Sauce
2 large onions, chopped
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
1/2 cup beef broth
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons dry mustard
In bowl, combine beef, bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce and eggs. Shape into meatballs. Brown in skillet with 1 tablespoon oil. Drain on paper towels. Add sauce ingredients to Crockpot, stir well. Place meatballs in Crockpot. Cover. Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours, or on high for 2 to 3 hours or until hot. Serve directly from Crockpot.
