I don't use any oil. The bacon grease is sufficient. -----Original Message----- From: Cookinginthedark [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Nicole Massey Sent: Sunday, April 14, 2013 10:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [CnD] how to cook bacon on the stove
Remember too that bacon is better when fried instead of cooked, so if possible it's better to have a bit of oil or grease in the pan. A grill press also helps in cooking bacon as it heats from the top and also helps to keep it from shrinking as much. You can find them at cooking supply stores and they may have them at department stores too. -----Original Message----- From: Cookinginthedark [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jan Sent: Sunday, April 14, 2013 9:20 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [CnD] how tow cook bacon on the stove Put the bacon in a pan. Put a lid on the pan. Set the pan to medium and cook for ten minutes. -----Original Message----- From: Cookinginthedark [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Anna Globe Sent: Sunday, April 14, 2013 10:09 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [CnD] how tow cook bacon on the stove Hello there, I would like to know con on the stove, we hhave been cooking it in the mycro wave but we want to try to cook it on the stove.
