Starbucks’ Peppermint Mocha

To make this marvelous drink you’ll need:

•three tablespoons of powdered baking cocoa
•three tablespoons of warm water
•one and a half tablespoons of peppermint syrup (not extract) or crème de menthe
•4 ounces of espresso
•12 ounces of steamed milk
•red sugar crystals (for the topping)


Mix the baking cocoa and warm water to make a syrup.

Pour this syrup into a sixteen-ounce mug.

Pour your espresso over the syrup, then add the peppermint syrup (or the crème de menthe).

Simply finish this Starbucks coffee recipe by filling the rest of your mug with steamed milk.

Top the drink with whipped cream and garnish with the red sugar crystals.
