This is false sort of. You put the raw without oiled kernels in the paper
bag, tape it closed, pop it, and then add your butter in the bowl if you
desire butter. You are going to have a super mess if you put cooking oil in
a paper bag. The kernels are considered a whole grain so without the grease
is a very healthy snack and is very low calorie too! I think it is 5 cups
for like 50 calories of popped corn without looking it up for exactness.
It is hard to answer your question about how much. I don't know the size of
your bag or microwave or its strength. So, I'd start with a tablespoon of
kernels and adjust from there after the first time.

Just curious if anyone knows this for a fact. I do not want a guess, only
if you know for sure.
You can put raw popcorn kernels, cooking oil, and butter into a paper bag
and tape it closed, or use a microwavable container that has a lid, and
microwave it successfully, rather than buying premeasured microwave popcorn.
If so, in what proportions?
Thanks.
