I always use 1 cup brown rice to 2 and a half cups water or other liquid. I alctually use the rice cooker. I fill to only 1 cup or 2 cup and then put water to the next line up. So for 1 cup of brown rice, I fill water to the 2 cup mark istead of the way you do it for white rice. Remember, it will take a little loner to cook. Don't forget to spray or grease your pan liberally.
