I ate it last night. I'll have to get another one to see what brand it was. I can tell you this much, though:

I bought it at Wal-Mart for roughly $8. It contained 2 pounds of frozen macaroni and cheese and chunks of chicken in a Buffalo sauce. When you think of a Buffalo sauce, you think that it is going to be hot, like Buffalo wings. This, to me, was not at all hot, although it was spicy. Yes, there is a difference. Spicy does not mean hot, and hot does not mean spicy. My opinion of this box of food is that the pasta was very tasty. So was the chicken, and so was the cheese, and the sauce was good, too. My only complaint was that the cheese and sauce combination made for a thin and runny consistency. I would have enjoyed the meal even more if it had been thicker.

The conventional cooking instructions were easy: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Remove from box. Leave foil on, and place on a baking sheet. Do not puncture foil. Bake for 45 minutes, remove foil, uncover, stir thoroughly, replace foil. Bake for an additional 15 minutes. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Subject: [CnD] a curiosity

A neighbor found something at Wal-Mart that I have never heard of. He
thought I might like to give it a try, so he bought me a box of it. It is a
frozen box of "Buffalo style macaroni and cheese" The directions say to
just leave the foil on, do not puncture, and put it into a preheated 375
degree oven for 45 minutes. Anyone heard of Buffalo style macaroni and
cheese? This might just fit the bill for tonight's dinner, because it's
going to be snowing and sleeting, with the temperature down near freezing
and a 35 mile per hour wind. Thanks.
