I think foil would scratch the nonstick finish; on one of the lists, someone
gave the tip to use parchment paper on it, and I love it; really! makes
cleanup so easy and even grilled cheese comes out crispy! imagine!

I have a huge George which I used as a bbq before I got a smoker/grill.
I used it for things with cheese in them to protect the grill.
I don't think it is necessary to use foil with them. It makes cleaning
harder I think.
