Hi, When I did part regular and part almond flour, the cake tasted good. But, the almond flour puts in lots of moisture. Regarding substitutions for avocado oil, I would think that would be a 1 to 1 exchange for either oil or butter. Stay safe. Let us know what you end up making and how it comes out. Lori
