Unfortunately, that's still not working..  I changed it to:
        AudioUnitRender(player.lowPassAU, &flag, &inTimeStamp, 0,
        blockSize, bufferlist);

My callback still isn't getting triggered, and that AudioUnitRender call
is definitely being hit many times...
