My 1946 415C has a lever on the left side wall about even with the wheel. Do you have an enlarged trim tab? Mine is the original size and is really pretty ineffective.
On the enlarged instrument panel. I have that installed. The only bad thing I can think of is that it cuts some foreward vision on landing.
