Whoops. Sorry. I misunderstood. You might want to try swaping the leads out of the power supply to each wing and see if the problem follows the power supply in which case that is the problem. OTOH if the same strobe still fails then it is either the ground at the strobe or the wiring out to the strobe. If the system uses separate power supplies in each wing then try swapping them if it is not too difficult.
