Dallas; I found that you can tilt the radio and transponder slightly down at the back and get enough clearance for the yoke. I have a KX 170B with a KT 76A on top. The cross tube on the control column goes over the top of the rear of the KX-170B and stops about 1/2 " short of the rear of the KT 76A. Good Luck
