Hi Dwight, I'm not sure why anyone would recommend replacing Mags if they are working properly, or why you would want to, unless they have a very poor track record. I don't believe this is the case with Eiseman Mags. In the latest Trade-A-Plane, Fresno Airparts Co. lists "Two Eiseman LA-4 Mags, Cert O/H: shielded harness & 8 BG4B2S Appr. sparkplugs(Exch. Mags) $745.00. They also list most of the individual parts for the Mags. I have also heard there is a shop in the San Diego Area that will rebuild your Mags if you want to go that route. I don't have the name of the shop but maybe Warren does. Ed Exley N214.
