Hi, Well I got into timing my magnetos today. What a chore! The left on= e went fine, as its inpulse coupling works and I followed the directions, b= ut I can't get the coupling on the right one to even make itself known. There= is just a ton of free play in that one, which is making timing difficult. I= can turn the drive gear about 30 degrees freely! I was wondering if anybody = knows whether this can be the spring broken or some other part, and what the be= st thing to do about it would be. Nothing appears to be worn or broken on = the outside. I got it timed okay but if the coupling were to suddenly start working again the timing would change a lot, real quick. Thanks for any = help and thanks for the previous help as I could not have gotten this thing ba= ck together without the advice! Glen Ward
