I knew I forgot something. We have a slightly bent nose-gear which, given the cost of a new one, we'll properly straighten. However, it did bring up the subject of rebuilding as a taildragger. I've been told it's been done before. Anyone got details or photos? I guess this was before the feds go uptight on moving production aircraft into experimental. Now, a retract taildragger with Jon's turbo O-200 would look better than a swift (IMHO).
