I would check the wires to the front CHT probes!  The front readings sound
too low to me.  Even my C85 ran about 325F, and a bit higher when
climbing.
I have found that if the connections are not real tight on those wires, or
if they are just slightly dirty, it will read low.  This was on a Westach
unit.  They tend to be little long round plugs that slip over a pin on
there
and they sometimes a bit of a squeeze with pliers will make them fit
better.
This is especially true of the connections on the extension cables they
make.  Also check to make sure the tops of the baffles have seals around
them to seal them to the top cowl around the rear of the area.  GW
