If there's a will there's a way.

The best fix is to remove the tank and go the A&P route. However if
that is more than you want to do, here is my fix.

Mark the leaks, a small scratch on the metal. Drain the tank, leave the
cap off. Clean all the leaking areas with paint thinner. Any build up
around the rivet needs to be cleaned.

Got to Wal-Mart or some other craft store. Get some of the mid size
suction cups that are used to stick things to shower walls, glass, etc.
Also, a tubeless tire valve stem and a small air compressor (Runs on the
car battery or a air tank that you can charge with very low pressure).

Get a sealer that you want to work with. (If you decide to go this
route, I'll get you the sealer name and stuff, it's at the hangar).

Cut a hole in the center of the suction cut and insert the valve stem.

Thin the sealer until it is about like a thin paint. Paint it over the
outside of the tank around the rivets. Place the suction cut over the
sealer and rivet. Get a good seal and apply a little compressed air.
This will force the sealer into the rivet and should seal the tank, if
the leak isn't to bad. (It will work in about 90% of the cases).
Re-apply at lease once more, following the same procedure. If the rivet
is loose, tighten it up after the sealer is forced in, but before it
dries.

DON'T PUT COMPRESSED AIR ON THE INSIDE OF THE TANK. IF YOU NEED A LIGHT
UNDER THE PANEL, TURN IT ON BEFORE YOU GO UNDER, (SPARKS WILL HURT YOU).

Let me know if you want a very in-depth instructions. If not, then I've
said enough.
