Scott: You can also use a product called PRC 980-B, or ChemSeal, which is an approved fuel tank sealer. It is available through your local aircraft supply, or Aircraft Spruce, etc. Clean the areas thoroughly, after draining the tank, mix the sealer according to the instructions, and apply liberally to the seam/rivet/leaking areas. This stuff sets up in about 24 hours, and is a permanent seal/repair Wear protective gloves, because it is hard to get off your hands. I know you do not want to remove the tank, but I have found leaks on header tanks that are on the top, or upper seam, and the fuel drips off the bottom after running around the tank to the lowest spot. Gravity, you know. >grin< Good Luck Lynn Nelsen N86997 52FL ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?bz8Sid.bAhN69 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
