Max oil temp for C-75/85 (red Line) 220 deg F Normal operating temperature 100 to 220 Actually one wants the oil temp high enough to vaporize the condensed water in the oil, yet not oxidize.....thus the limits shown above. I see my oil temperatrures about 180 - 190 deg F on a hot day. If you have hotter temps, I would suspect "blow by" from worn or stuck piston rings. Have your mechanic check it out.
