There is a plate for the fiberglass nose. Lee at Skyport has them. It does not cover the entire area. I have it, and consider it useless. But that was for the old standard cowl, which for many of us is long-gone, replaced with a different design in fiberglass. There really is nothing too terribly wrong with duct tape over the center hole. You can even trim it up neat. Or you could use the '200MPH' tape that they sell in car-parts stores. You know, the silver stuff that they use to fix up race cars after they bust up some body-work? It's kind of pretty.
