Hi Scott: Univair has the STC to metalize the early wings. I think
they
charged me $25 a couple years ago when I bought one. As far as the
procedure,
I am not sure they have the drawings, but if they own the STC, they should
have the drawings. If you really want metal wings, I have a pair of metal
wings in good shape that I might trade you for the fabric wings.
The comments about useful load are very appropriate. However, if
you
have to keep your Coupe tied down outside, it is a little easier to take
care
of the metal covered ones.
