DON'T use a cloth! Plexiglas scratches remarkably easily.

Rain-X (available in auto parts stores) will keep the condensation to a
minimum. You have to put it on EXACTLY the way the bottle says to. And
you have to start with a completely clean windscreen. Use it on the
inside
only.

Apply a cloth to plexi only to dab off drops of water if you want to keep
from scratching it. Much better to flush it with lots of water, apply
cleaner with your bare hand only (the one without the ring!) and wipe
vertically rather than in circles, then "squeegee" it with bare hand and
use cloth only to get the drops up (like a blotter). If you just have to
use a cloth, a washed-to-rags diaper or 100% cotton Tshirt is probably the

best.

To warm the engine you might try taking a quart of oil home, getting it
warm (sit it on a heat vent maybe? or put it in the outflow of your car's
heater?), and adding the warm oil before turning over the prop prior to
starting.

There are portable engine preheaters but they are expensive, tend to start

fires, and are awkward to handle.

Glad you got clear weather - it snowed here almost all day and we have
over
3" sticking to the ground....

Good luck
Merry Christmas
