Pre-heat your engine. At 20 degrees, you shouldn't be starting it without preheat. A minor hesitation to take full power is no big deal, as long as it does take it, and does so smoothly. Make sure that your oil temp. is off of the peg before attempting takeoff.
>>> Steven Lewis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 12/21/98 11:55AM >>> This is the first winter I have owned the coupe and I am finding ot hard to start in the cold (about 20 F) . I prime the engine 4-5 times and crank. The engine will start - run for a few seconds and die. This happens several times and finally it continues to run. Any suggestions. Also I noticed as I was starting a takeoff roll a momentary hesitation as I advanced the throttle. Is this something I should worry about??? ============================================================== LordJoe - Java Training and Consulting http://www.LordJoe.com ! !
