Chad, I personally agree with Jimmie. Finish your primary training in the Kitana. In fact I logged a number of hours in the Kitana trying to decide if it should be the replacement for my 'coupe. Bottom line the Kitana lost when I put it head to head against my 'coupe for which plane I wanted to own. But I'd sure like to try the Kitana's prop on a 'coupe some day; it should be perfect! The Kitana is a fun plane and I think you'll even be a better 'coupe pilot if you stick with it through private. As you've already discovered, you'll feel right at home moving to the 'coupe (it's sure easier to get in and out of!).
