this is a warning (for what it's worth) thoes of you who modify something without getting a field STC are going to run into trouble with your IA if he catches it on your next annual. Something that the manufacturer does not include in his product is subject to a STC. (and they are hard to get, these days)....If you aircraft just happens to have an accident, and is inspected by the FAA (and it likely will be) and they find something that is not "stock" without paperwork, it will VOID your insurance, and the IA who signed off your airplane for annual, will possibly lose his livelyhood...just for what it's worth.....jolly
