Just an additional comment. You may be tempted to shortcut the process,
and
fish the welting into the goves without taking out the side panels, etc..

It can be done, but in my case it was not satisfactory.  It is almost if
no
impossible to clean the old glue, and to install new flue in the p[roper
place, and to get the welting pressed into the proper place.

I tried plastic strips to attempt to push the welting into place, etc..
but
was not very successful.

Done correctly, the welts have a fairly long life. Improperly installed,
they
fail quickly, with tearing, binding, etc..... I KNOW !

Suggestion, Do it Right the first time -.
