Steve,
I found the reference to "limitations on RPM" From the "D" handbook, and
concerns the 1A-90 prop. " Note: Avoid continous engine operation between
1830
and 2020 RPM with McCauley 1A90 Propeller."

This is in reference to a C-75 engine installation; does not appear under
the
C-85 specs.... So does it apply to a C-90 ???? Yes if it shakes, would by
my
thought.

I don't think having excess fuel in your airplane is proper. ---that fuel
gushes out if I remove a wing tank cap- I would review the plumbiong..
Sounds like you are pumping from one tazanke to the other swomehow -- or
completely draining the header.... Only way I could visualize this is by
filling the header when refeuling -- DON'T. It should be kept full by
the
fuel pump, with excess overflowing back to the wing tanks - which are
interconnected. So neither wing tank should overflow or have pressure on
them.... But, if you refuel, fill the wing tanks to the brim, then fill
the
header tank to the brim, then you ahve added about a gallon more than
airplanes capacity, and some day it will overflow somewhere --- wing tank
guages, bad gasket, etc....Don't fill the header tank when
refeulling.......only the wing tanks.....
