After getting a few responses, apparently our plane is fairly normal in these areas. Good deal.
The 1800-2000 RPM range isn't too important to me, except occasionally when "fixing" a too-low approach. Not knowing what's in the fuel pump, I didn't know if THAT was a problem. Interestingly, this plane doesn't have vents for the wing tanks that dump the fuel overboard. Instead, the wing tanks are vented to the top of the header tank. The wing tank caps make an impressive seal, sometimes I take them off and fuel pours out, I guess from the excess that has drained from the header. It isn't a problem, yet. One of these days the caps will start leaking and I'll have blue stains on the wings. ----------------------------------- Steve Dold ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Say NO to useless over-quoting -----------------------------------
