Ditto what Percy said. FYI -- When I first bought my Coupe, it (like yours) had solid plugs on the wing drain holes. On my second flight, I had a loss-of-power forced landing because ice in the bottom of the wing tanks had thawed during a 2-hour cross country flight and re-frozen in the metal fitting where the fuel line goes through the fire wall. Needless to say, there were quick drains in those tanks before the end of that day. (No damage during the forced landing, by the way.) I've not seen very many Coupes which did NOT have a glass bowl quick-drain gascolator. Don't forget to be sure that both of the metal gascolator braces are installed per the AD to be sure the fitting to the carburator doesn't have vibration failure. -- Ed Burkhead East Peoria, Ill.
