Bob, I understand ALL ABOUT the law but the comments that I was refering
to
was the comment about "if you want to do your own repair than call it an
expiremental and dont fly over my house" that kind of assinine comment is
probably from someone that doesnt know what a end wrench is. I wasnt
refering to legality of working on your own plane with your own idea of
repair techniques just the narrow sided point of view that was displayed
by
the thought process that the airplane cannot be built safely other than
through the FAA certificated process which is factually disputeable. In
fact
there are great advancements in avaition through the expiremental process
that should have taken place years ago if the FAA hadnt had their lead
shoes
on so tight. I do not want anyone to mistake my content I do no promote
illegal unapproved repairs at anytime even if it were a better option,and
have not or will not do them on my certificated plane, which is why I am
in
the middle of building my third homebuilt, and have plans for an
expiremental ercoupe whan this Avid Flyer is done, But I do appreciate
your
concern and thanx for your comments. Ron
