Going into this thing, we knew it would probably need a top overhaul soon, and possibly a major. We figured it was on borrowed time since the thing only has about 700 hours on it since 1970. It's really true what they say about flying the thing often being good for the engine. If I get the jugs off and find the cam lobes and followers are OK, I'll be extremely happy.
