Well guys, I don't much care who has "The Unofficial Ercoupe WEB Page", I would just like to see one of us get some backing. In the past 2 years I had my page up I've had fair response to the pilots and Planes section, I have roughly 85 Coupers and their aircraft listed. Quite a few have provided pictures and I've scanned in pics for several of you at no charge and returned the original photos. That has been the good side. Now I also offer free ad space for want ads or for planes or parts for sale. On this page I've had poor response from people wanting to take advantage of it but for those who did use it had good results. In that same 2 years I've had almost no one list a fly-in, so that goes pretty much unused. There is a tips and comments page which few have bothered to use. Bottom line is, no one wants to really get involved is what it all boils down to. I've begged and all but pleaded for articles or anything to add to the page which would help support Coupers and the Coupe no takers. I've offered to Skip and the EOC space for any use they so choose, again no takers. Who knows maybe only having 20 megs of WEB space isn't enough to attract participation, however since I'm only using less than 25% of that now I don't think WEB space is really a problem. I do and don't mean for this to sound bitter but it is frustrating to have spent 2 years on this and God knows how many hours to have had such poor response. Granted I've only been flying for about 22 years and only have 9 years in Coupes but I have not lost my enthusiasm for the Coupe or for flying. I have however failed to find the unity among Coupers that is so often claimed. Yes there are small pockets of Coupers but over all this is not a cohesive group. I just would like to see everyone who has a Coupe page get support, this is not a competition and competition will only result in power plays which benefit none of us.
