Howdy.
Now that you mention it, that Cesna 150 had a long tube from the bottom
of the gascolator out the bottom of the plane.  I remember having to 
reach in the oil check hatch and pull it with one hand, while holding
the sample tube with the other.

Don't think that service bul. is good idea.  You may recall that the AD
for the holes in the bottom of the Ercoupe wings started out that way.
Final AD was issued out of Colorado as I remember.
