I agree that climate is very important. I lived 400 feet up on St. Croix, USVI for several years and still had salt crystals on the pillows every night. It was a real eye-opener with respect to the damage caused by salt air. After hurricane Hugo the computers, which were in "watertight plastic" began to fail because of salt on the motherboard, etc. My Alon spent its entire life in Colorado which is a real comfort. Had it been 30 yrs in Florida or elsewhere within 60 miles of the coast, I would have given an ercoupe equal consideration. K. Doyle Spfd, Mo
