My opinion for what it's worth. Metal wings are heavier. Fabric insures that the wing structure will be opened up so they can be thoroughly inspected when recovering is needed. I'm not a camper, but the previous owner of my Coupe would regularly load the Coupe up and go camping. I understand that he did pop out the back windows once by stuffing too many sleeping bags back there. <G> I rented one back in '55 and the memory prompted me to buy one. This is my second Coupe.
