[COUPERS] Alon Baggage

Ed makes an interesting observation about changing the CG with the larger baggage compartment in the Alons.  (We) should probably re-weigh our planes every 10 years or so, but that aside, the Alon baggage area is already rated for 75lbs even though it would take a sand bag to get that much weight behind the seat without opening the area below the hat rack.  That being the case I would think a recalculation of CG would not be necessary even if we have more space to fill.  The A2A has a real seat in the back for a kid or pet to ride in, but I don't think the weight and balance or CG is any different than in the A2.  What do you other Alon drivers think about the CG issue?   Ken Doyle Springfield, Mo Alon N5477E
