Herb, Like David, I have same equipment you do and I replaced my gen with a 30AMP and new regulator. I also have amp meter and digital volt meter that tells me the exact draw.  Only at night taxing with both landing lights and strobe on will it not keep up.  I would check your gen output and volt regulator before I would change to an alternator.  Bought my new gen and reg from El Reno in Oklahoma.  Very reasonable.  Good luck   Hank Gallagher 47HG Austin, Tx   ----- Original Message ----- From: H.
