[COUPERS] Generator vs Alternator

I'd appreciate input on replacing my generator with a 50AMP alternator. The conversion kit costs about $725.00 plus instalation kit but appears to be necessary because my generator can't keep up with the current demands of GPS, navcom, electric turn & bank indicator, flashing beacon, wing  and landing lights. If any of you Coupers have experienced similar problems I'd like to get the benefit 0f your advice. Thanks in advance. HERB SLOANE  (415E  94840}.
