Mines like this too. I thought I would hate it, but fact of the matter is
that the coupe is cozy enough that it is always easy to reach with my
right
index finger whilst I have my hand on the throttle.

Usually when I'm in the pattern my hand is on the throttle anyways, so it
is
very natural and easy.

Larry,
Having the PTT on the panel works fine for me, and the person who
owned
this coupe before me. I communicate with ATC, Tower, pattern and yes, even
that Jerk in front of me...(usually behind me about to MOW me over) with
absolutely no problems. Personally, I have the stock yokes, and I prefer
not
to have anything remotely attached to it with wires dangling on my knees.
I
know they make the rams horns with switches built in... so that is an
option
if I ever change that way.
