Hi all,

i have a very strange problem with my server the last few days. I use
Courier+Postfix. A few of my users have big mailboxes (more than 8000
emails in the INBOX). When they try to use the webmail to access their
mailbox, connection is dropped because of the memory limit in the php.ini.
If i increase this limit, they can access their mailbox but, CPU
utilisation is 100% during this operation due to imapd and after a while
the system crashes and needs reboot. My CPU is a 2.4 GHz Xeon. I don't
think it's too old to cope with Courier.

Has anyone seen such a problem before?

Thanks again.
