ok i setup and no access file and got this:

imapd[5022]: /etc/courier/imapaccess.dat: No such file or directory

and also got from roundcube :

Login failed for user1984 against localhost from 186.91.4.176. Could
not connect to ssl://localhost:993:

note that i already defined the domain in roundcube.. was an upgrade
from older version (debian 6 squeeze working almost 7 years without
touch anything) to lasted 1.0.14 this time build from sources no
package involved.. same happneded with packages from testing
