Well it's not a big deal for sendmail to exist on srvB strictly for
outgoing mail.  It doesn't have to handle incoming SMTP.  But if you're
really paranoid and don't want any MTAs installed, you just make sure
whatever software you're using on srvB uses SMTP, and point it to srvA. 
If you're using IMP/Horde for example (or really most any PHP mail
program), you can have it send email via SMTP.
