I'd like to help, but I think your debugging / C abilities are beyond mine. I am using gdbm support in other things and haven't had any other complaints - not that that proves anything, but if there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

I'm trying to get access to the > debugging information I left when I tracked this problem down myself. Well, I got the debugging information I'd gathered before. However, malloc doesn't appear anywhere in the stack trace I have.
