Hi Sam! While I certainly believe you, I have to wonder why the current Courier install seems to work fine. The sequence of events went something like this: - I installed courier-authlib-0.50 - I installed courier-0.47 This much worked. I noticed the extra processes running and figured I should install the standalone courier-imap package instead. At this point I attempt to compile courier-imap and get the error. If courier-authlib was installed incorrectly, then why would the courier-0.47 package work? What about my install is likely incorrect? The install of authlib+courier went without a hitch. I'm not sure what I'd re-do differently as there were no errors.
