QUIT
221 Bye.
Any suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated.
An earlier delivery attempt to this address failed with a temporary
deferal. When a delivery attempt to an address fails with a
temporary error, Courier will reject all subsequent messages to this
address accordingly, until the original message gets succesfully
delivered.
Look in the mailq and find a pending message that's waiting to be
delivered to this account. Get its message id and grep the mail logs
to figure out why this message cannot be delivered. Fix it, and
after the message gets successfully delivered to this address,
Courier will resuming receiving more mail to this address.
If you don't find anything in the mail queue, grep the mail logs for
the first delivery error to this address.
That explains everything, Sam, thanks. I found that the first message
failed because the tmp directory was out of space. I fixed it before I
found that mail was bouncing and didn't put the two together. I still
am not sure why changing the domain name in "me" but that isn't
important. At least, I'll know where to look next time and how to fix
it.
Thanks, again.
