What can I advise the zzzzz.com folks on how to to alter their forwarding system so it doesn't trip this SPF filter at xxxx.com.au? opt BOFHSPFHELO=pass,none,neutral,softfail,unknown,error opt BOFHSPFMAILFROM=pass,none,neutral,softfail,unknown,error opt BOFHSPFFROM=pass,none,neutral,softfail,unknown,error,mailfromok opt BOFHSPFTRUSTME=1 xxxx.com.au TXT "v=spf1 ip4:xxx.6.248.7 -all" renta.net TXT "v=spf1 ip4:203.25.238.13 -all" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Final-Recipient: rfc822; [email protected] Action: failed Status: 5.0.0 Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; host mail.xxxx.com.au[xxx.6.248.7] said: 517 SPF fail [email protected]: Address does not pass the Sender Policy Framework (in reply to end of DATA command) --B626B40D2FD.1296874586/sepia.zzzzz.com Content-Description: Undelivered Message Content-Type: message/rfc822 Received: from sepia.zzzzz.com (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by sepia.zzzzz.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id B626B40D2FD for <[email protected]>; Fri, 4 Feb 2011 21:56:13 -0500 (EST) Delivered-To: [email protected] X-Pobox-Orig-Sender: <[email protected]> X-Pobox-Delivery-ID: 7DDE4474-30D3-11E0-BBB5-B3CFAE8B47FB-52975462!sepia.zzzzz.com x-zzzzz-client-address: xxx.25.132.13 x-zzzzz-client-name: mail.renta.net Received: from mail.renta.net (mail.renta.net [xxx.25.132.13]) by sepia.zzzzz.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id B271E40D308 for <[email protected]>; Fri, 4 Feb 2011 21:53:39 -0500 (EST) Received: from laptop.localnet ([::ffff:192.168.1.2]) (AUTH: PLAIN [email protected], SSL: TLSv1/SSLv3,256bits,AES256-SHA) by mail.renta.net with ESMTPSA; Sat, 05 Feb 2011 12:53:29 +1000 id 00000000000445BB.000000004D4CBBA9.00001E5C From: Mark Constable <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: Testing Date: Sat, 5 Feb 2011 12:53:59 +1000 User-Agent: KMail/1.13.6 (Linux/2.6.37-ARCH; KDE/4.6.0; x86_64; ; ) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Message-Id: <[email protected]> Hi, I'm just testing this email address on behalf of xxxxx. --markc ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The modern datacenter depends on network connectivity to access resources and provide services.
