I haven't taken a look at the issue recently, but aren't there now
plug-ins for the wiki software that handle spam and other stuff?
I am not against moving to a tool once the group (or tech-focused
sub-group) decides there are clear advantage a specific tool offers,
but my vote for wiki software over Drupal and Joomla, etc. have to do
with the learning curve associated with using either of the latter
even to post material, what to say of administrating them.
