check out costco/sams club/warehouse store of your choice. I saw a really nice office chair, black leather, armrests, etc, for about 70USD per chair.
Auctions of office furniture occasionally happen. Call every auction house for 50 miles around, and ask. Tell them if they get office furniture in to give you a call. They will add you to a list. Thrift stores/goodwill/salvation army (just give em a call, and ask if they have office furniture) Of course, the aforementioned craigslist/ebay. Did you try freecycle? Yahoo or google groups for your local area, and search the archives for the past month or so. All I can think of off the top of my head.
