David, you are not alone on this one. #JellyWeek is proving a great way of raising the concept of coworking. It has taken me almost a year of 'promoting' Jelly in France. In the beginning I had my information deleted from online media sites and some people still just don't understand the point. More information needs to be circulated about the benefits of coworking. Free does not mean 'of no value'.
Fortunately, things have started to turn around in France, there are many people that do support the ethos and other groups are now running which is great. Finding a partner organisation that is prepared to support the idea can also help you get things off the ground. Best of luck !!
