IPR's are Intellectual Property Rights, the key corporate issue of the day,
from Napster to Terminator seed technology, about the latter I plan to post.
But I don't know anything about Napster. I still buy CD's. Yesterday I
bought a CD of Angelique Kidjo, Miriam Makeba and others called "Queens of
African Music". I highly recomment this and would even be happy to pay them
royalties. What the music shows inter alia is the amazing fusion of African
and Cuban musical traditions: son and salsa sounds -- with East African
religious and ritual music.
More on IPR's, which is serious stuff, to follow.
